SELLING SERVICE

Sell luxury, without doing the selling.

A personal resale service for designer pieces. MDC manages the pricing, presentation, marketing,

enquiries, negotiation and sale - so you don't have to.

HOW IT WORKS

1. SEND US YOUR PIECE

Send clear photos and details. If accepted, we can provide a complimentary NZ courier label to

send the item to MDC.

2. WE ASSESS IT

We review the brand, model, condition, current market and likely selling range.

3. YOU APPROVE THE PRICE

Together we set the asking price and a confidential minimum selling price.

4. MDC DOES THE SELLING

We photograph, present, market, answer enquiries and negotiate with buyers.

5. YOU GET PAID

Once the sale is complete and cleared, your net proceeds are paid to you.

$1,000 - $2,999 25% 75%

$3,000 - $7,499 20% 80%

$7,500+ 15% 85%

All amounts are NZD. Bespoke terms may be agreed for exceptional high-value pieces.

8 WEEKS. NO AUTOMATIC MARKDOWNS.

Our standard exclusive selling period is 8 weeks. We don't publish an automatic markdown

schedule. Instead, MDC manages the price strategically. Buyers don't get a countdown telling themwhen your piece will become cheaper.

If an offer is at or above your agreed confidential minimum, MDC can negotiate the sale. If we

believe an offer below that figure is worth considering, we come back to you.

MORE THAN CONSIGNMENT

LUXURY SELLING SERVICE

For clients who want MDC to manage the entire resale process while they retain ownership until

sale.

DIRECT PURCHASE

Selected pieces may qualify for an MDC purchase offer where speed and certainty are more

important than waiting for the retail buyer.

PRIVATE / INTERNATIONAL PLACEMENT

For selected pieces, MDC may recommend access to private, specialist or international buyers

where that route makes sense.

WHAT WE ACCEPT

MDC is selective. Acceptance depends on brand, authenticity, condition, demand and likely resale

value. Designer handbags and other luxury fashion pieces are considered individually.

AUTHENTICITY

Items must be authentic. Please provide receipts, certificates, serial information, packaging or

other provenance where available. If independent authentication is required, this will be discussed

before any fee is incurred.
